the rest of the people are just blissful idiots, but what creeps me out in this commercial is the old lady. Her first bit of dance looks like, I apologize right now for saying this, it looks like she’s farting seductively.
what creeps me out is the slowness of the dancing, and the strained, hopeful smile of the son in glasses. Also the patio fire and barefeet. And the feeling that they do this nightly, like some druggy ritual goodnight story. The color of the sky in the back is nice though.
This is an addendum to a somewhat longer post below. My other recent obsession has been with commercials of people dancing because of the product, or to sell the greatness of the product.
